I learned this week that James O'Malley of Khanate and Sunn O has collaborated with Julian Cope. Which sent me down the rabbit hole of realizing how many Julian Cope albums there are that I have never heard and do not seem to be available for streaming.
Emma and I got the chance to see Sunn O)) and Julian Cope play together. Julian did the whole show dressed as an Ent, and did nothing but chanting. It was... something.
That sounds amazing. I last saw Julian in 1996 at The Reading Festival. We was a bit weird then but he's really off the charts now. The other time I saw him was during his rock star phase (World Shut Your Mouth tour) opening for Siouxsie.
