Speaking of ordering vinyl and never really knowing when it’s going to show up…my copy of Fearless (Taylor’s Version) arrived almost 2 weeks ago, but I received the shipping notification yesterday. Very useful 🤣
I read in the NYer Talk of the Town column last week that part of the problem with cargo in limbo on shipping containers (particularly off Long Beach, CA) is that there is a shortage of staff to unload the containers so there are many, many full cargo ships anchored off shore just waiting. I witnessed this phenomenon in June while sailing out of Long Beach. At the time I just assumed this was normal not having spent time in those waters. Alas, it was pandemic related…like most things these days.
