When I worked at Heavy (first job, basically) we made a lot of Flash promo sites. It seemed so cool and futuristic. Also random memory: I saw The Matrix at the 68th and Broadway theaters. Phantom Menace trailer beforehand. Was so packed that I had to sit in second row. The beginning of the movie with the dripping green code looked like it was raining on me.

Oh god yeah, Heavy was DEFINITELY a heavy (no pun intended) hitter in that game. We dabbled, but I realized pretty early on there wasn't much money in hollywood. Or fashion. So we generally tried to avoid those jobs. We also lost pitches for Star Wars and Wall-E, though, that bummed me out. Also remember how excited you were about the TPM when all you'd seen was the trailer???

The TPM trailer was the single biggest thing that spring. I was so excited. That movie set the standard for the genre of trailers that are better than the movies. Was worth the several minutes long wait for it to download on my red iMac and watch
