I wanted to ask about the outhouse and mosquitos! Since there's no door, don't they get in there and bite your nether regions while you sit?
Yes, in the summer. Mosquitos are bad but only for a few months. And in those few months, doors don't really help. At least not to the level on a non-sealed-wall outhouse
