What kinds of crosswords does ye mum like? There’s an excellent app for the daily NYT crossword, if she likes those. Not sure if there’s an easy way to print them out though. My mum was a fan of the ones in the Globe until the dudes who made it all died and they got new younger editors who do too much recent pop culture stuff she doesn’t know — so she orders old books of the one of the dead guy’s old puzzles and is very happy.
I’m pretty sure there are paper crossword magazine/books you can subscribe to too. I’ve sold a bunch of the Sodoku version on eBay. Which would be a good place to stock up, I bet.
I've been more obsessed with The Veldt than ever over the past year. The Afrodisiac album sounds better now than it did in 1994 and the new music they've released in the past 5 years have been wonderful. I never saw them much back in the day and I'm glad they are still around and making music.
